Clinton Swim and Tennis Club Code of Conduct  

The Clinton Swim and Tennis Club is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all our members and guests.  To promote safety and comfort, the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club asks that all persons act appropriately while in our facilities, on our property or participating in club activities.

We expect members and visitors of the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club to act maturely, behave responsibly, and to respect the rights and dignity of others.  Typically, this is exactly how members of the club behave and we value and respect our members. The actions listed below are intended to protect our members, and are not intended to be an all-inclusive prohibited list of behaviors, which are considered inappropriate and are prohibited on the grounds of the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club:

  • Using or possessing illegal drugs on Clinton Swim and Tennis Club property.
  • Smoking or vaping within the confines of the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club.
  • Carrying or concealing a weapon on Clinton Swim and Tennis Club property without a permit.
  • Harassment or intimidation by words, gestures, body language or any type of menacing behavior. 
  • Physical contact with another person in an angry, aggressive or threatening way.
  • Verbal abusive behavior, including profanity, angry language, name calling or shouting.
  • Sexually explicit conversation or behavior, including the use of technology.
  • Theft or behavior that results in the destruction or loss of property.
  • Loitering within facilities and property of the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club if requested to leave the property by Management.
  • Continual disregard of Clinton Swim and Tennis Club rules. 

In addition, the Clinton Swim and Tennis Club reserves the right to deny access or membership to any person who has been convicted of any crime involving sexual abuse, is or has been a registered sex offender, those with prior violent felony convictions, and persons currently under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Any member who feels this Code of Conduct is being violated should immediately report the incident to Management.

Suspension or termination of membership may result from violation of this Code of Conduct.  While an incident is being investigated, membership privileges may be suspended. *Board approved 3/2021
